Draw the same curl shape as jeem and cheem. Start at the upper right shoulder, sweep down and to the left, drop below the baseline, then rise to a soft point on the left. No dots are added afterward.
For parents
ح is the dotless member of the curl family. Teach it right after jeem so the contrast is felt: same shape, no dot. Children often add a dot out of habit; the way to fix this is not to scold but to name what is missing: "ha has no dot, that is its rule." Stroke timing is approximate.
Restraint is a real skill. Praise the lift: "You drew the curl and stopped. That stop is what makes it ha." Stopping at the right moment is harder than adding more.
