One single curve, drawn in a single pull. Start at the top right with a short slanted shoulder going down to the left, then continue in a smooth bend that turns and finishes pointing slightly back to the right at the baseline. No lift in the middle.

For parents
د is one of the non-connecting letters: it joins to the letter on its right but never to the letter on its left. This is why دادا has a visible gap after each د. Teach this rule the moment you teach the shape, otherwise children try to connect it forward and the word stops looking right. Stroke timing is approximate; the rule is one continuous pull, no dots.
The first word most children write with د is دل or دادا. Both are people they love. Say the word as they write it, and let the letter carry the warmth of who it points to.
