By the end of this hour you will have a one page CV in PDF, named correctly, with no Career Objective paragraph, no list of adjectives, and at least three bullets that have a number in them. This is the document you will email for the next twelve months.

Send the PDF to two friends and ask each to time how long it takes them to find your strongest fact. If either takes more than fifteen seconds, the layout is hiding what matters and you need to redesign.
