Practical exercise
Write chai making with branches and decisions
An algorithm is a recipe with decisions. Most family chai recipes are linear and lose at the first what if. You will write a chai algorithm that handles real conditions: the milk has gone off, the gas pressure is low, dadi wants kadak and chacha wants pheeki. By the end you will have a one page algorithm that survives a real Pakistani kitchen.

Now try it
Write chai making with branches and decisions
Stretch
Write algorithms with branches for two more home tasks: ironing one shirt, parking the family car at home. The same shape applies. After three you will start seeing decisions in everything.
