Speed test your internet across one day
The internet at your house is not one speed. It is fast in the morning and slow at night, fast on a sunny day and slow during a thunderstorm, fast on wifi and slow on mobile data, or sometimes the other way around. Today you will measure it five times across one day, and write down what you find. By tomorrow, you will know your own home network better than your father does.

Ask one neighbour or one cousin in another part of the city to run the same speed test at the same time as your evening test. Compare the numbers. If theirs is faster, it might be a different ISP. If theirs is slower, your area might have a better tower.
