Practical exercise
Type 50 words on a real laptop or computer
Today you will sit down at a real keyboard for the first time, with a goal. By the end of one sitting, you will have typed at least 50 words, used Ctrl C, Ctrl V, and Ctrl S, and saved your first ever document. If you do not have a laptop at home, the school computer room, the public library, or a small internet cafe in your area will work. Bring a small note from your parents if you need permission to use a public terminal.

Now try it

Stretch
After the first session, do five more days of typingclub for ten minutes each. By the end of the week your speed will roughly double, from 10 words per minute to 20. Note your starting and ending speed. This is the cheapest superpower you can buy in life, free, in one hour total.
