Practical exercise
Make a paper plane, a kite, or a small mud pot
Hands need to make. The brain that only types and scrolls forgets that paper folds, that mitti can be shaped, that thread can hold a kite in the sky. Today you build one of three things by hand: a paper plane, a small kite, or a small mud pot. The point is to feel materials respond to your fingers. You will photograph the result, and also note one thing that surprised you about the material.

Now try it
Make a paper plane, a kite, or a small mud pot
Stretch
Build all three over three different days, one per day. At the end compare which material your hands trusted most. That preference often points to a craft you should pursue further.
Goes into your portfolio
Two photographs of your finished object (front and a second angle), and a one paragraph note in your own words on what surprised you about the material as you worked it.
