Practical exercise
When someone is sad: practice listening without fixing
When a friend says 'mera mood off hai', most of us immediately reach for advice, jokes, distractions, or solutions. This is a Pakistani national reflex; we have been trained to fix sadness because we are uncomfortable sitting with it. Today you practice the opposite: one classmate, one short conversation, zero fixing. Just stay in the room with their sadness for ten minutes.

When someone is sad: practice listening without fixing
Stretch
Run the same exercise on a family member who you usually argue with: a younger brother, an older sister, a sister-in-law. Side by side, ten minutes, three responses only. Notice how much harder it is at home than at school.
Goes into your portfolio
A short reflection (one page handwritten or typed) titled 'kya hua jab maine fix nahi kiya', covering: who you sat with, what you noticed, how many times you nearly broke the no-fixing rule, and what changed in your relationship two days later.
