When you are wrong: a written apology to one person you wronged this month

In our culture, 'sorry yaar' is the easiest sentence and the cheapest one. It costs nothing because it carries no admission, no specifics, no plan. Today you write a real apology, with paper and pen, to one person you actually wronged this month. The act of writing slows you down enough to feel the wrong, name it, and own it. Then you deliver it.

When you are wrong: a written apology to one person you wronged this month

Stretch

Identify one wrong from over a year ago that has never been addressed: a friendship you damaged in school, a worker you accused unfairly, a sibling you publicly humiliated. Write the same four part apology and deliver it. Old wrongs unlock more than fresh ones.

Goes into your portfolio

A photograph of the handwritten apology before delivery (you may blur the recipient's name for privacy), plus a two sentence reflection: how it felt to write specifically rather than vaguely, and what they did when you handed it over.
