Circle of care capstone: a 30 day expansion from self to disliked
Empathy is not a trait you have or do not have. It is a circle you choose to extend, deliberately, in widening rings. This capstone runs for thirty days. Week one, you care for yourself. Week two, you care for one chosen friend. Week three, you care for one stranger. Week four, you care for one person you actively dislike. The discipline is the daily log; the proof is the four people whose week was different because of you.

Stretch
Restart the cycle in the next quarter, but extend each ring by one degree. Self becomes self plus body (start exercise). Friend becomes a different friend. Stranger becomes someone of a different class background. Disliked becomes someone whose politics you actively oppose. The expansion is lifelong.
Goes into your portfolio
Three things together: photographs of the full thirty day log (one image per page is fine), the two page final reflection from day 30, and one short voice note (under two minutes) explaining to a future cohort mate what they should know before starting this capstone.
