We live in a country where a darzi sits on every other corner, which is exactly why most of us never learn to sew. The result is a generation that throws out a perfectly good shirt because of one missing button or a small tear at the hem. Today you reclaim three repair skills that take fifteen minutes each and save thousands of rupees a year. A needle and thread cost twenty rupees. Disposability is a luxury we cannot afford.
