Practical exercise
Volunteer one shift at a Pakistani civil society organisation
Reading about HRCP or Edhi or Akhuwat is information. Spending one Saturday morning inside any of them is education. Today you pick one organisation, contact them, show up, and work for at least three hours. The work might be filing forms, sorting donations, walking with a fundraiser, or accompanying an ambulance crew. The size of the task is not the point. The point is to put your body where your reading has been.

Now try it
Volunteer one shift at a Pakistani civil society organisation
Stretch
Commit to one shift a month for six months at the same organisation. After six visits, you stop being a visitor and become a fixture. The depth of what you learn in those six months will exceed the entire civics curriculum. Do not switch organisations every visit; the relationship is the asset.
Goes into your portfolio
A 500 word reflection naming the organisation, your tasks, the staff member you spoke to, and the three answers they gave to your tea break questions. Plus a photograph of yourself at the office (with permission, never of beneficiaries).
