Start at the top right, curve up and to the left, then pull straight down through the baseline (a small descender).
For parents
F and T both have a cross stroke. Children sometimes draw the cross at the top of F and forget the top bar, accidentally making T. Show your child the difference: F has a top bar plus a middle cross; T has only a top bar.
F is a flag on a pole. Two bars wave; the third stays empty. Notice what is not there as much as what is.
