Lowercase 'h', 'n', and 'm' all share the hump shape. The number of humps and the height of the first stroke separate them. Practise them in a row: h (tall, one hump), n (short, one hump), m (short, two humps). Drawing all three together teaches the contrast better than each in isolation.

H is a ladder. Two posts, one rung. Build the posts first, then the rung. The order matters more than the speed.
