These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Polymath platform, including the website at polymath.feerasta.ai, mobile applications, voice agents, content, and related services (together, the "Service"), operated by Polymath, a sole-proprietorship of Meer Feerasta (CNIC redacted), having a registered address in Lahore, Pakistan ("Polymath", "we", "us", "our").
By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service in any manner, you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
1.1 You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to create an account on Polymath. The Service is designed for use by children, but accounts may only be opened, managed, and authorised by a parent, legal guardian, or institutional administrator (the "Account Holder").
1.2 If you are an Account Holder enrolling a child under your care, you represent and warrant that (a) you are the child's parent or lawful guardian, or have explicit written authorisation from such parent or guardian, and (b) you consent to Polymath's collection and use of the child's personal data as described in our Privacy Policy and Children's Privacy Notice.
1.3 If you are accessing the Service on behalf of a school, college, university, donor organisation, or other institution ("Institutional User"), you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that institution to these Terms.
2. Account creation and security
2.1 You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account, and update such information promptly when it changes.
2.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and any credentials issued to you, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at security@polymath.feerasta.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.
2.3 We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate any account for violation of these Terms, applicable law, or for any other lawful reason, with or without notice.
3. The Service
3.1 Polymath is a bilingual (English and Urdu) AI-assisted learning platform offering literacy, numeracy, and AI-foundations content for children aged approximately four (4) to fifteen (15) years, aligned with the National Curriculum of Pakistan.
3.2 Features may include AI-driven tutoring, voice-enabled lessons, reading assessment, written tracing exercises, mentorship pairings, parental dashboards, certificates of completion, and live virtual classrooms.
3.3 We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at our sole discretion. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice of material changes.
4. AI and voice agents
4.1 Portions of the Service use third-party large language models, automatic speech recognition, and synthesised voice (collectively, "AI Tools"). The AI Tools may generate output that is incomplete, inaccurate, or otherwise erroneous. Polymath does not warrant the correctness of any AI-generated content.
4.2 You acknowledge that AI Tools are an aid to learning and are not a substitute for classroom instruction, qualified teachers, professional medical or psychological advice, or the supervision of a parent or guardian.
4.3 Voice interactions may be transcribed and stored to provide the Service, audit safety, and improve the platform. Refer to our Privacy Policy and Children's Privacy Notice for details on processing.
5. Subscription, fees, and payment
5.1 Polymath may offer free, paid, and institutionally-licensed access. Pricing for each tier is published on the website and may be updated from time to time. Existing subscribers will be notified of price changes at least thirty (30) days in advance of any renewal.
5.2 Payments are processed through third-party payment service providers approved by the State Bank of Pakistan or, in the case of foreign-currency receipts, through licensed international gateways permitted under the Foreign Exchange Manual. You authorise us and our payment partners to charge your selected payment method for all fees due.
5.3 All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes (including but not limited to sales tax under the Sales Tax Act 1990 and provincial sales-tax laws). Polymath shall be entitled to add such taxes to invoices as required by law.
5.4 Refund and cancellation rights are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including any conduct prohibited by the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016, the Pakistan Penal Code 1860, the Punjab Children Welfare Act 2018, or any other applicable law;
- (b) upload, post, or transmit content that is defamatory, obscene, blasphemous, sectarian, hateful, threatening, or unlawful;
- (c) impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;
- (d) attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or to bypass authentication, rate limits, or content filters;

7.3 Any content you submit to the Service (drawings, voice recordings, written answers, profile information — "User Content") remains your property. You grant Polymath a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, transmit, display, and adapt User Content solely to operate, audit, secure, and improve the Service. We will not sell or licence User Content to third parties for advertising.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and our Children's Privacy & Parental Consent Notice, which explain our practices in detail and form part of these Terms.
9. Disclaimers
9.1 Polymath is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except as required by applicable law.
9.2 We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, free of viruses or other harmful code, or that any defects will be corrected.
10. Limitation of liability
10.1 To the maximum extent permitted under Pakistan law, in no event shall Polymath, its founders, employees, or contractors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
10.2 Our aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by you to Polymath in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) Pakistan Rupees five thousand (PKR 5,000).

12.2 We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or for any other lawful reason. We will provide notice where reasonably practicable.
12.3 Sections 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, and any other provisions which by their nature survive termination shall do so.
13. Governing law and dispute resolution
13.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
13.2 Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be referred to good-faith negotiation between the parties. If not resolved within thirty (30) days, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration Act 1940, with a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement, and the seat of arbitration in Lahore, Punjab.
13.3 Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek interim or injunctive relief from the courts of competent jurisdiction in Lahore.
14. Miscellaneous
14.1 We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published at polymath.feerasta.ai/legal/terms is the controlling version. Material changes will be notified to registered users by email at least thirty (30) days before they take effect.
14.2 If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
14.3 No waiver by Polymath of any breach shall constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.
14.4 You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. Polymath may assign these Terms freely.
